Sakuraco unites with NYBA to celebrate Japanese art, cuisine, and culture this September.

Japanese culture has a way of captivating communities across the world. No matter where you may find yourself — you’re sure to experience elements of its powerful influence. In New York City, the New York Budo Association, or NYBA for short, is a driving force behind the education and appreciation of Japanese culture in the US.

This September, NYBA is gathering practitioners of Japanese martial arts, music, and other activities with their UNITE 2021 event in an effort to “create a cross-cultural exchange to foster greater respect, tolerance and a better understanding of traditional Asian culture, its mental and physical benefits as well as a way to unite a like-minded community of dedicated practitioners.” Proceeds raised will also directly benefit the NYBA in an effort to stay afloat amid the pandemic.

Audience members can look forward to demonstrations of Japanese martial arts, Japanese tea ceremonies, Taiko drum performances, and more — all from the comfort of their homes.

As the authentic Japanese snack subscription service, Sakuraco couldn’t be more proud to sponsor the event and support NYBA and their friends in their mission to promote Japanese culture.

This partnership represents both Sakuraco’s commitment to supporting Japanese culture abroad as well as the awesome influence it can have on those who treasure it. UNITE 2021 will take place on September 17th and 24th 2021. Find out more at https://www.newyorkbudoassociation.org/home
